For the Crust:
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Wooden or metal skewers (soaked if wooden)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F).
- In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, maple syrup, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss Brussels sprouts in the glaze until coated.
- Thread the Brussels sprouts onto skewers, placing 4-5 halves per skewer.
- Grill skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until sprouts are tender and charred in spots. Brush with extra glaze while grilling.
- Remove from grill, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
