A sweet and savory side dish featuring roasted sweet potatoes filled with tender spiced apples and a rich cinnamon-pecan butter, all drizzled with a warm maple glaze.

For the Crust:
- 4 medium sweet potatoes
 - 2 large apples, peeled and diced
 - 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
 - 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
 - 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
 - 1 tablespoon brown sugar
 
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Pierce sweet potatoes with a fork and bake for 45-50 minutes, until tender.
 - In a skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon butter. Add apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Cook until apples are soft, about 8 minutes.
 - In a small bowl, mix remaining butter, pecans, and brown sugar to form the cinnamon-pecan butter.
 - Slice cooked sweet potatoes open and fluff the insides with a fork. Fill each with the cooked apples, then top with a dollop of cinnamon-pecan butter.
 - Drizzle maple syrup over each stuffed sweet potato and return to the oven for 5 minutes to warm through. Serve immediately.
