Elegant, bite-sized puff pastry roses filled with sweet pear and creamy brie, finished with a warm walnut honey drizzle for a perfect appetizer or dessert.

For the Crust:
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
- 4 oz brie cheese, rind removed and cut into small cubes
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp chopped walnuts
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out puff pastry and cut into 2-inch wide strips. Arrange pear slices along one edge of each strip, overlapping slightly, then place brie cubes on top.
- Fold the pastry over the filling to enclose, then roll each strip tightly from one end to form a rose shape. Place on baking sheet, brush with egg wash.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Meanwhile, warm honey in a small saucepan, stir in walnuts, and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Remove pastries from oven, let cool slightly, drizzle with walnut honey, and dust with powdered sugar if desired. Serve warm.
