Description

A sweet and savory flatbread topped with creamy brie, sliced pears, toasted almonds, and a drizzle of honey for a delicious appetizer or light meal.

For the Crust:

  • 1 pre-made flatbread or naan bread
  • 4 oz brie cheese, thinly sliced
  • 1 ripe pear, cored and thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place flatbread on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
  2. Arrange brie slices evenly over the flatbread, then top with pear slices. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  3. Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is melted and edges are golden. Meanwhile, toast almonds in a dry skillet over medium heat until fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Remove flatbread from oven, drizzle with honey, and sprinkle with toasted almonds and thyme. Slice and serve warm.
