For the Crust:
- 1 package (8 count) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, mix chopped pecans, brown sugar, melted butter, beaten egg, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
- Unroll crescent dough triangles on a flat surface. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the pecan mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll up each crescent from the wide end to the tip, gently pressing to seal edges. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until crescents are golden brown. Let cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar if desired.
