Description

Creamy brie cheese coated in a crunchy pistachio crust, baked until warm and gooey. Perfect as an elegant appetizer for any gathering.

For the Crust:

  • 1 wheel of brie cheese (8 oz)
  • 1 cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the brie wheel into 1-inch cubes. In a bowl, mix chopped pistachios, breadcrumbs, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each brie cube into the beaten egg, then roll in the pistachio mixture to coat evenly. Place on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the crust is golden and cheese is soft. Drizzle with honey before serving.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
