For the Crust:
- 1 wheel of brie cheese (8 oz)
- 1 cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the brie wheel into 1-inch cubes. In a bowl, mix chopped pistachios, breadcrumbs, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each brie cube into the beaten egg, then roll in the pistachio mixture to coat evenly. Place on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the crust is golden and cheese is soft. Drizzle with honey before serving.
