For the Crust:
- 4 slices of halloumi cheese
- 1 cup shelled pistachios, crushed
- 4 burger buns
- 1/4 cup hot honey
- 1 cup arugula
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Dip slices of halloumi into crushed pistachios, pressing gently to adhere.
- Place the pistachio-crusted halloumi on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until nuts are golden and cheese is softened.
- Toast burger buns in the oven for 3-5 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Assemble burgers by placing pistachio-crusted halloumi on buns, adding arugula and a generous drizzle of hot honey.
