Description

A high-protein twist on the traditional baklava, featuring a nutty filling and a honey glaze.

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, pistachios), finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup protein powder
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the chopped nuts, protein powder, honey, and cinnamon until well combined.
  3. Spoon tablespoon-sized portions onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
