A delicious and savory pastry braid filled with smoky BBQ sweet potato and sharp cheddar cheese, wrapped in golden puff pastry.

For the Crust:

  • 1 large sweet potato, peeled and shredded
  • 1/2 cup smoky BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the shredded sweet potato with the smoky BBQ sauce and cheese.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry and place the sweet potato mixture in the center. Make cuts on each side and fold over to create a braid pattern. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
