Description

A warm, savory-sweet skillet dish featuring roasted Brussels sprouts and pears, topped with creamy burrata, crunchy walnuts, and a drizzle of spicy hot honey.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 ripe but firm pears, cored and sliced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 8 oz burrata cheese
  • 3 tbsp hot honey
  • Fresh thyme leaves for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss Brussels sprouts and pear slices with olive oil, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika in a large bowl.
  2. Spread mixture in a single layer in a cast-iron or oven-safe skillet. Roast for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway, until sprouts are tender and caramelized.
  3. Remove skillet from oven. Top with burrata and sprinkle walnuts over the roasted vegetables and pears.
  4. Return skillet to oven for 3-5 minutes, just until burrata is slightly melted and walnuts are toasted.
  5. Drizzle with hot honey and garnish with fresh thyme. Serve immediately while warm.
