For the Crust:
- 1 pound pizza dough, store-bought or homemade
- 1 whole head of garlic
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the top off the garlic head, drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 30 minutes until soft.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a thin, rectangular shape and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Squeeze the roasted garlic cloves into a small bowl, mash with a fork, and spread evenly over the dough. Drizzle with the remaining olive oil and sprinkle with herbs, Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the edges are golden and crispy. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
