Description

A crispy, aromatic flatbread topped with roasted garlic, fresh herbs, and melted Parmesan cheese, perfect as an appetizer or side dish.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 pound pizza dough, store-bought or homemade
  • 1 whole head of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the top off the garlic head, drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 30 minutes until soft.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a thin, rectangular shape and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Squeeze the roasted garlic cloves into a small bowl, mash with a fork, and spread evenly over the dough. Drizzle with the remaining olive oil and sprinkle with herbs, Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the edges are golden and crispy. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
