Description

A simple yet elegant dessert featuring sweet roasted pears topped with tangy blue cheese and crunchy pistachios.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 4 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/4 cup shelled pistachios, roughly chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange pear halves cut-side up on a baking sheet.
  2. Drizzle pears with honey and olive oil, then sprinkle with a pinch of salt.
  3. Roast for 20-25 minutes, until pears are tender and lightly caramelized.
  4. Remove from oven and top each pear half with blue cheese and pistachios.
  5. Return to oven for 3-5 minutes, just until cheese begins to melt.
  6. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves and serve warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
