Description

A simple yet elegant dessert featuring tender roasted pears filled with creamy cheese and topped with crunchy pistachios.

For the Crust:

  • 4 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup shelled pistachios, chopped
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • Pinch of cinnamon

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange pear halves cut-side up in a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, honey, and vanilla until smooth. Spoon mixture into the hollows of each pear half.
  3. Drizzle melted butter over pears and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until pears are tender.
  4. Remove from oven, top with chopped pistachios, and serve warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
