Description

A sweet and savory flatbread topped with creamy goat cheese, a tangy cranberry drizzle, and crunchy toasted almonds.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 pre-made flatbread or pizza dough
  • 4 oz goat cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place flatbread on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine cranberries, honey, and balsamic vinegar over low heat. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until cranberries soften and mixture thickens slightly. Let cool.
  3. Spread the cranberry drizzle evenly over the flatbread, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle crumbled goat cheese and toasted almonds over the top. Season with salt, pepper, and thyme.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden and cheese is slightly melted. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
