For the Crust:
- 12 large sea scallops
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Pat the scallops dry with a paper towel. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear scallops in the skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Lower the heat and add butter to the skillet. Stir until melted, then drizzle over the scallops before serving.
