Description

Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 12 large sea scallops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Pat the scallops dry with a paper towel. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Sear scallops in the skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. Lower the heat and add butter to the skillet. Stir until melted, then drizzle over the scallops before serving.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
