For the Crust:
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 8 oz Brie cheese, rind removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/4 cup salted caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup chopped mixed nuts (pecans, walnuts, or almonds)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Flaky sea salt, for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut into 2-inch squares. Place a cube of Brie in the center of each square.
- Top each Brie cube with a teaspoon of salted caramel sauce and a sprinkle of chopped nuts.
- Fold the pastry corners over the filling, pinching to seal. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, until pastry is golden and puffed. Let cool slightly before serving.
