For the Crust:
- 1 package phyllo dough
- 1 cup unsalted pistachios, shelled and chopped
- 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Layer a sheet of phyllo dough in the dish and brush with melted butter. Repeat with half the phyllo sheets.
- Mix pistachios, feta, and basil in a bowl, then spread the mixture evenly over the phyllo layer.
- Continue layering the remaining phyllo sheets, brushing each with butter.
- Cut the layered phyllo into squares or diamonds, ensuring you cut all the way through.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before serving.
