Description

Soft, chewy, and bursting with colorful sprinkles—these Funfetti cookies are the perfect sweet treat for birthdays, celebrations, or anytime you want to brighten someone’s day.


Ingredients

2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

¼ tsp salt

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

½ cup powdered sugar

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup Funfetti sprinkles (plus extra for rolling)


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.

3. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.

4. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.

5. Gradually add dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.

6. Fold in 1 cup of Funfetti sprinkles.

7. Scoop dough into tablespoon-sized balls and roll in extra sprinkles if desired.

8. Place dough balls on baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.

9. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are set and centers are still soft.

10. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For thicker cookies, chill the dough for 20 minutes before baking.

Use rainbow or seasonal sprinkles to match holidays or special events.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
