Description

A creamy and flavorful spiced sweet potato flan that combines the warmth of spices with the sweetness of caramelized sugar.

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a blender, combine the mashed sweet potatoes, evaporated milk, and half of the sugar. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour the remaining sugar into a saucepan and melt over medium heat until caramelized. Pour the caramel into a 9-inch round baking dish, tilting to coat the bottom evenly.
