For the Crust:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
- Sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Bring to a simmer.
- Whisk in cornstarch slurry and cook for 1-2 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Return chicken to skillet, spooning sauce over each breast. Cook for 2-3 minutes to glaze and reheat.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
