Description

These delicious upside-down tartlets feature caramelized shallots and creamy feta cheese, topped with a drizzle of hot honey for a sweet and spicy finish.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 6 large shallots, peeled and halved
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
  • 150g feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup hot honey

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and balsamic vinegar over medium heat. Add shallots and cook until caramelized, about 15 minutes.
  3. Cut puff pastry into circles and place caramelized shallots and crumbled feta on top. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes until golden brown. Drizzle with hot honey before serving.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
