Description

A savory and aromatic bread dip made with sun-dried tomatoes, herbs, and extra virgin olive oil, perfect for dipping crusty bread.

For the Crust:

  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes in oil, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the olive oil, sun-dried tomatoes, minced garlic, basil, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Stir in the balsamic vinegar until all ingredients are well blended.
  3. Let the dip sit for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld before serving with your favorite crusty bread.
