A perfect balance of sweet and spicy with creamy burrata to complement the caramelized endive.

For the Crust:
- 4 endives, halved lengthwise
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 8 oz burrata cheese
- 1 tbsp heavy cream
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, honey, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Brush the mixture over the endive halves.
- Place endives cut-side down on a baking sheet. Roast for 20-25 minutes until caramelized and tender.
- While the endives roast, whip burrata with heavy cream and lemon zest until smooth and fluffy.
- Serve caramelized endives on a plate with a dollop of whipped burrata. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
