For the Crust:
- 4 heads of endive, halved lengthwise
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp chili flakes
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 8 oz burrata cheese
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange endive halves cut-side up on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle endive with olive oil, honey, chili flakes, and salt. Roast for 20-25 minutes until caramelized.
- While endive roasts, whip burrata and heavy cream together in a food processor until light and fluffy. Fold in lemon zest.
- Spread whipped burrata on a serving platter. Arrange caramelized endive on top.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve immediately.
