Description
A soft and fluffy focaccia bread shaped into a ring with a gooey Camembert cheese center, perfect for sharing.

For the Crust:
- 500g strong white bread flour
- 7g instant yeast
- 10g salt
- 300ml warm water
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 round Camembert cheese (250g)
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 1 tsp sea salt flakes
- 1 tbsp honey (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large bowl, mix flour, yeast, and salt. Make a well in the center and add warm water and 2 tbsp olive oil. Mix to form a sticky dough.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan). Punch down the dough and shape into a ring on a baking tray, leaving a hole in the center for the Camembert.
- Place the whole Camembert (in its wooden box if safe for oven use) in the center. Brush the dough with remaining olive oil and sprinkle with rosemary and sea salt.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden. Drizzle with honey if desired. Serve warm for tearing and dipping into the melted cheese.
