For the Crust:
- 1 French baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
- 8 oz brie cheese, rind removed and sliced
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup hot honey
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh thyme leaves for garnish
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and toast for 5-7 minutes until lightly golden.
- Top each toasted baguette slice with a slice of brie. Return to oven and bake for 5-7 minutes until brie is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and top each crostini with a spoonful of cranberry sauce, a sprinkle of chopped walnuts, and a drizzle of hot honey. Garnish with fresh thyme, salt, and pepper before serving.
