Elegant and easy appetizer featuring toasted baguette slices topped with melted brie, sweet-tart cranberry sauce, crunchy walnuts, and a drizzle of spicy hot honey.

For the Crust:

  • 1 French baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 8 oz brie cheese, rind removed and sliced
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup hot honey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh thyme leaves for garnish
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and toast for 5-7 minutes until lightly golden.
  2. Top each toasted baguette slice with a slice of brie. Return to oven and bake for 5-7 minutes until brie is melted and bubbly.
  3. Remove from oven and top each crostini with a spoonful of cranberry sauce, a sprinkle of chopped walnuts, and a drizzle of hot honey. Garnish with fresh thyme, salt, and pepper before serving.
